On September 19th. we hosted the first of four installments of #BlessTheHustle in partnership with The Pregame Podcast!

#BlessTheHustle is a podcast incubation program that empowers Black side hustlers to ideate, create, build and sustain a successful podcast. The partnership allows for The Side Hustle Economy Company to provide a space, community and curriculum while The Pregame Podcast provides subject matter expertise, facilitation and strategic vision on how to impact the people that need this the most.

During the first installment, we focused on the following pillars:

  • Defining a podcast

  • Identifying peer models

  • Building a foundation

  • Categorizing podcast content

  • The ins-and-outs of creating show content

We were able to serve a group of 15 current or aspiring podcasters and he hosted this event at Pivot Marketing in Fountain Square! Checkout the recap video below, courtesy of JBF Media. Stay tuned for more information on the next installment, coming on December 12!
