Happy Holidays from 3Dollar$ & A Dream
To celebrate the holidays, we took some time to give back to the Black apparel entrepreneurs that continue to push the culture forward!
We opened applications for our Inaugural 3Dollar$ & A Dream Grant Program on Monday, 11/22 and they poured in consistently until applications closed on 12/22! This grant program provides a $1000 grant to a Black apparel entrepreneur in Indianapolis along with free business coaching for six months and primetime promotion at our Second Annual 3Dollar$ & A Dream Convention.
We received a total of 70 applications, each with unique origin stories and needs, ultimately selecting Shanita Hunt of Top Tier Co. as our inaugural grant recipient!
But it gets better, for two reasons:
Thanks to our friends over at LISC Indy, we were able to provide grants to two additional Black apparel entrepreneurs: Tirus Duncan of Everybody’s Somebody and Deonna Weatherly of 4SET Apparel!
Thanks to the generosity of our program partner, Isaac Avant of HKD Clothing & 3Stax Manufacturing, we’ll be providing free business coaching to ALL 70 APPLICANTS!
